Injector Dynamics ID1300 Release Information
We appreciate your patience and support in our quest to fill the void between the ID1000 and ID2000. While both are great injectors, there are many applications that will benefit from something in between.
The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport to fill that void. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the high-performance tuner. The ID1300 is not a modified production injector. It is a clean sheet design, built to our engineering specifications, exclusively for Injector Dynamics.
The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only high performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions.
In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows for fitment in more than 200 applications, making it one of the more versatile injectors in our lineup.
In the next few months these will be made on Bosch's production line. In the mean time, in order to get them to customers who have been patiently waiting for them, we have a limited supply of hand assembled units that will begin shipping the first week of July. These injectors are the exact same as what will roll off the production line, but are built at a rate of only 50 units per day (vs ~10,000/day on the production line). As such, they cost more. The current retail cost is $195 per injector, which includes electrical connectors and necessary adaptor tops, just like the rest of the ID line. We hope to be able to lower the retail price a bit when the production line is up to speed but we don't have final costs on those units so at this time. All we know for sure is the retail price will not increase and will most likely come down.
More details on the ID1300 can be found on the Injector Dynamics website:

The ID1300 response data can be found on the ID1300 page, and the plug and play data sets will be posted to the application data page of the ID website in the near future.
If you require Ford, GM, MoTeC M1, or any other data before it's posted on the site, please email [email protected] and we'll get it to you.
These are the dimensional drawings for available fitments, and we have 100% drop in PNP kits for GTRs as we do with the rest of our sizes.
AMS has tested a couple sets in GTRs, i'll see if Eric can share some details of the results, but they made 1150whp on a 4.4L Alpha 10 package! More results will be popping up soon as there are quite a few test sets out there currently.
The ID1300 will be capable on E85 of what the ID1000's are on gas. I hate to quote HP numbers because there's such a variance in this market with the different AWD dynos.
