Agreed Destroid. As a certified NRA instructor I can only ask that in future you never put your finger in the trigger guard. no matter how 'confident or proficient you are'. I have seen range accidents where a startled shooter with their finger too close to the trigger has accidentally discharged a round. Not trying or meaning to sound preachy... but please.... finger OFF trigger!
Before handing someone a firearm that's never had any formal training, I always tell them "finger straight" and physically show them. Otherwise, most people think their finger should be resting on the trigger.
