I have been on this forum for awhile now, and have wanted a GTR since 2008 when they were first released here in the US. I took delivery of my 2012 Gun Metallic Grey on June 1st, but have been really busy and I have not had time to take any pictures or make in introduction thread. Gun metal was not my first color choice, but the dealer I got the car from had this one coming in so I just took it. I'm much happier with this color than I thought I would be, it changes hue depending on light and looks amazing. I have a GMC Sierra that I use as my daily driver, but I drive this car as often as I can, just hit 2,500 miles tonight on the way to take the pics.
The only mods I have installed so far are the clear side markers, and an AAM "quiet" resonated midpipe. The midpipe sounds great, and that's the way the car should sound from the factory. I plan to do most of the basic bolt-on mods (dp's, catback, Cobb AP, filters, injectors, ext.) but for now I'm happy with the car the way it is.
I got a chance to take some pictures of the car today, I have not used my camera in a long time so I'm a little rusty. The daytime pics have too much light, as I took them around 2-3pm when the sun was too high, and the night time pics are a little crooked as I do not have a level on my tripod. Overall I'm happy with the way the pics came out though. You may need to click on the pics as I didn't resize them and photobucket may make them distort untill you open them up.
I have met a few of the local Long Island GTR owners, and look foward to meeting some more. I would really like to set up a meet before it starts getting cold!
