Well I evidently joined a not too exclusive club. Transmission temps in 220 range and boom, clutch overheat error message, then limping back in. Let cool to temp less than 150...same thing. Now sitting in towing yard waiting for dealer two hours away from me to open Monday AM.
Needless to say, I am sick about this turn of events, but I hope that like others before me, it will be covered by warranty.
It's trapped in Birmingham if anyone has any experience with dealers there, I would appreciate any advice.

Birmingham, AL?? Jim Burke Nissan has 3 certified GT-R techs. My experience with the dealership is mixed(wheel scratches, paint swirls), but they are the best in town i guess. Anyway I always have bad luck, others have good things to say. Good Luck!!

Thanks for the advice. It's at Jim Burke as we speak. I'm waiting to hear back from the service dept about what they find out. It was a sad end to a nice weekend at Barber.
