Guys I had just sold my 2008 Gtr.
I'm missing it already !!!!!
I was thinking of buying a used Bentey GT (Shoot Me!!!!) or waiting for the cost of the 2012 Gtr to come down before buying again.
From where I live (Hong Kong) the cost of a new GTr is over US$ 222,000.
What do you guys think.

Cheers,

What was your reason for selling? There must have been some factor that you weren't pleased with or financial issues that made you sell your car. Then, it wouldn't make sense to buy another GT-R.

I sold my car because I was apporached to by an acquintance.
The price was very reasonable.
Which means after 2 years of use (very little use in fact only 6000KMS not miles) was put on it, the car depreciated by only 6% value.
To be honest I loved my Gtr. I had a Diablo before that. Loved that one too.
But since I was not using it much, I might as well let it go before it depreciated more.
Also I was hoping a R36 would be around the corner, but from this forum, I learnt that Nissan would not introduce a new model until at least after 2015 maybe.
I mean if the local price of the 2012 Gtr was not that high (HK$ 1.7 Million or in USD 220,000) I would just buy it now.
I am in no rush to buy another car as have a daily driver and chauffeur. I hardly get to drive with all the work and family commitments.
I would like to buy a nice car with 4 seats (got kids !).
And honestly after the Gtr anything else seems like a downgrade in speed, horsepower and handling.
The Bentley was a choice since it's not pretending to be a sports car, it's just a GT nothing else. Driving it would not be a bait for other supercars.
I don't like cars that play to be fast be are not. Won't mention any names here to offend people.
My wife really likes the Bentley, so getting her to say yes is a no brainer - not that she ever objected to any car I have ever bought - respect to her here !
And with growing kids the size of rear seats are getting more of an important issue.
In the R35 my wife and son would take turns for the front seat and I sometimes feel bad !
