You want warranty, keep it in RRR and you can launch it as many times as you want. RRoff, if it breaks right there, it is not covered.
OK thank very appreciate

so r-r-r nissan cannot see how many time we do it correct!!
I am sure they can see it, it is just cover under warranty.
Good info here. No switch settings are required for LC2. I use VDC R or I will spin (same with most).
Its called stall starts. As far as I remember it only shows if you turn VDC OFF. MC posted this picture of a Consult III file.

I wonder if that is LC1 only, or LC1 and LC2?

Also, what if you turn VDC off while the car is moving? Is that logged?

Does any of that really matter anyway as long as the car does not break during the actual VDC off event?

I have read that Nissan will cover repairs under warranty as long as the vdc off event and any damage does not occur at the same time. Makes sense really. I mean, how can there be a switch that if pressed, will void your warranty? What if I meant to hit the suspension into comfort mode, but accidentally hit the VDC off (LC2)? Then my powertrain warranty is voided? That makes zero sense.

Now, if you turn VDC off for LC2 and launch it about 500 times and have the ECU/TCM flashed like I did in my black car, that is would be understandable..
The VDC stall start according to my service advisor is only triggered by excessive wheel spin when the VDC is off
