I have been wanting a GT-R for about 12 years now, back when Motorex was still around I even started talking to them about importing an R32 but I am glad I didn't go ahead since that was just a few months before they went out of business. I still really love the R34s and wish I could get one in the USA.

I am hoping to find a local (Seattle area) GT-R in the low $60s. I have never gotten a chance to drive one so I would really like to do that just to make sure it is everything I want, but I doubt I will find much to dislike since I am coming from a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire with 230,000 miles that I have been driving for several years (aside from the almost zero maintenance cost and 30+mpg).

Is the previous owner of the 2009 for sale at Magic Nissan on here http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?/topic/59346-2009-nissan-gt-r-premium-silver-26k-miles-6499500/? At first I didn't want to consider it since it has a roll bar but I would like to find one locally and it seems like a reasonable deal might be possible. I don't mind buying a car that has been on the track a few times since I will be racing a bit as well, but depending on how much it has been to the track a lower price would be justified. Also I wonder if Nissan will void the warranty knowing it has been raced?

If anyone is interested in selling their car feel free to let me know, although I am patient and willing to wait to find a good deal. Maybe some of you with a 2009 will be getting a 2013 soon?

Also if anyone is in the Bellevue area and wouldn't mind me checking out there car and maybe even taking it for a little drive that would be awesome. I would even trade you a drive in my 93 RX-7 garage queen that has a few upgrades or the Pontiac Sunfire, your choice.

the pp car is way over priced. no surprise with pp though. i paid that much for my '10 with 9k miles last april. the mods aren't my tastes either. to find one in the low 60's though i think you'll have to look at cars with 25k+ miles. good luck and i hope you find one and then get out to drive it with us other local guys.
