I have searched and havent found a thread on this. If I plan on doing a 900hp to 1000hp build, does it matter much which year model I go with? I love the 2012 blue, but dont want to spend the premium for the color and a few improvements if they are not needed.

Just wondering if the weak points of the older models will be tweaked or replaced anyway.

unless you're interested in the stock aero difference with the 12, this is 100% true.

I'd go with an earlier model with higher miles to keep the initial cost down. Inevitably, you'll be replacing most of the engine internals anyways if you are looking to yield those hp numbers. Good Luck !
