Hello, I'm new to the forums but not to cars. I am looking to get a GT-R, or at least put a down-payment and get it ordered, within the next year. I have seen plenty of them up close but have never actually taken a ride in one. I am asking a big request here but I am wondering if there is anyone on the area (I live in Winchester, VA but don't mind driving to NOVA) that could give me a ride in their GT-R. I will drive to you, you just tell me where. I know if I saw this post I would be like....yea dream on dude. However, I am legitimately looking to get one of these cars and would like to at least get an idea of how awesome the car is before I throw $20K to order one of these. I will be happy to answer anyone's questions/concerns to validate the authenticity of my request. Thanks in advance to anyone generous enough to entertain my request.

I just bought one without riding or sitting in one. I know the numbers the car can produce. I use to have a race car, and on slicks it ran a 1.6 60ft I know what that feeling is like, and I love that feeling. My race car also ran the 1/4 in 12.6 sec, and I know what that kind of power feels like. On a roll I can take out a lot of cars. The GTR can run the 1/4 in 11.2 that just makes it more insane. I hope you find someone that will let you take a ride in theirs.

Thanks for the reply, I agree with you and I do know what lateral acceleration of that nature feels like. I am interested in the feel, responsiveness, the way the automatic transmission shifts/puts the power to the ground, and possibly a visual highlight of some of the features that an owner likes on their GT-R. I mean I will likely buy one sight unseen like I did with my first Supra TT, but it would be great to see in person why such a big investment is right for me. Thanks.
