Which is your powertrain of choice?

  • Turbocharged 2.0L four cylinder with dual-clutch auto trans

  • Supercharged 3.5L V6 paired with a torque converter auto trans

  • Supercharged 3.5L V6 paired with a manual trans

Lotus nailed it with this design. This is one of the best new designs I’ve seen in years. There are obviously borrowed design cues from a number of cars, but it all works well together from any angle. The last design this exciting was the C8, but the C8 definitely has good and bad angles.

They have positioned it in between the Cayman and 911 with pricing closer to the Cayman. It has hydraulic steering, supercharged v6 with available manual or turbo 4cyl with DCT and a starting price around $80k. Shut up and take my money, Lol. I just wish it had small back seats like the Evora 2+2 for my boys. It is a bit portly for a Lotus at just under 3100 lbs but still pretty light by today’s standards. This will be last ICE car from lotus before they go all electric. This looks like a proper send off.

That is a very beautiful car. Very impressed. Sales should be some of the best for the company with that one.

Lotus really out did themselves with this one thats for sure… that is fantastic!

Now which powertrain would you choose?

S/C with auto trans seems to be the preferable choice thus far…
