I want to buy some matte finish (not glossy) carbon fiber interior bits for my 2010. Mostly thinking of the center console and shifter area and around the climate control.

Who makes matte CF? If none of the aftermarket guys do then maybe I can get the 2012 parts directly from Nissan. I wonder how scary the prices are??

I have not seen anything in matte that covers all the areas you are looking at. You'll probably need to go with someone like Robson Design (check out the Singapore section of the forum) who can custom make specific parts in CF.

Good luck!

The best overlays IMO are by RSW. I have the gloss version, but they offer a matte option too: http://www.any-s.net/rsw/index.html
Thanks for the tip. Are you pleased with the fit and finish of the "overlay"? I was hoping to buy full replacement CF panels because overlays often fit poorly and don't look OEM.

They look pretty good. Maybe matte finish might look like 2012 version

I have the AC panel and gear shift surround and they fit absolutely perfectly. Installed over 2 years ago and they look brand new.
My brother had the carbon window switch surrounds and they did slightly change the feel of the switch because they're laid over the original trim, but the 2 panels I have are perfect.

Easy install too, no need to detach and replace panels.

Just ordered matte finish climate control thing... Look forward to seeing quality. Maybe they will make the lower part also like 2012 has.

i have spoken to rsw a few times and they are adamant they will not make any new parts

they wont even provide wrapping services either - so i sent my window switch panels to revozport and they matched the weave for my carbon wrapped parts

if you do the ac panel and inner gear surround, it'll be overkill with the cd panel as well imo - too much carbon too closely grouped together

I plan to do the shifter/console area only because the painted plastic scratches too easy. It's going to be a little carbon over kill but I don't have many options.

I just need to see if these pieces match the weave on the 2012. The pics of the matte finish look closer than any other company I have seen.

WOW, just 4 days shipped from CHINA/JAPAN whereever it comes from! Looks really nice! Im not much for overlay stuff but this will look like factory 2012 climate panel for 99% of people that see it.

it's beter than the 2012 trim as it doesn't leave any gaps around the buttons

the 2012 you can easily tell is stuck on

Yeah I was kinda disappointed in the look of the 2012's OEM carbon. Looks fake! Like the panel around the CD/DVD slot though.
The RSW overlay is perfectly cut so that all the original backlighting and lettering shows through. Not sure how a complete replacement carbon panel would be able to do as good a job...
