Meisterschaft installed

Recently Installed the HKS Mid-pipe and Meisterschaft cat-back. Have a quick clip of the exterior sound using my new GoPro HD camera for the first time. Cool little camera, doesn't seem too good with handling any wind noise though.

This is the exact setup that i am planning. Was it the Ti meisterschaft?
Sounds real good, Nice video editing too. Strait to the point....uh i mean sound

I purchased the stainless steel version. For me, the Ti was not necessary, cost was much more, and not really needing the weight savings. Also, there has been some feedback that the Ti may sound a bit tinny or something along those lines, but have yet to hear one for myself. So, when it comes to exhaust, to each his own. I'm happy with my setup and it definitely turns heads everywhere. I hardly put the radio on anymore.
I've been trying to decide between the two as well SS vs Ti. I can't find how much i would save on weight savings with the Ti.
Have u noticed any power gain with your new setup?

A little better seat of the pants feel. I did the exhaust more for the performance sound than anything, and for a fun easy project that I could do myself. Traction control has come on a few times more than normal. But I have no dyno numbers or track numbers to reference. The way the system is now, there is two less cats, larger diameter piping and no mufflers, so pretty much a straight through exhaust system after the down pipes, and also might be some minor weight savings. I think most agree that mid-pipes and cat-backs offer minor performance gains where as upgrades to the down pipe offer the best gains in the exhaust system. So if you are wanting to put money towards something with real performance gains, this route might not give you what you are looking for performance wise.
Just curious, what are the chances of being caught with a modified exhaust over there? ( I'm from the other side of the world )
Shed some light, thanks guys

Not a problem here, had aftermarket exhaust on most of my previous rides too, never ran into a problem. If too loud, might get a ticket for that I guess.
So you have a resonated HKS midpipe right? Surprisingly, with the resonated midpipe, the Meistershaft doesn't sound as bad as what I have heard. I guess the sound is much more raspy with decatted downpipe and non-resonated midpipe. Cool!
Meisterschaft sounds great. Congrats on the new set up!
Can someone tell me the difference between resonated and non-resonated midpipe? Sorry for the newbie question; picking up my car tomorrow and already thinking of mods lol.

Congrats on the new GT-R!

Resonate pipe has a chamber built into to it, similar in looks to a muffler but still straight through in design with no restrictions, it helps to reduce drone. Non-resonated pipe is a simple straight pipe section and is a bit louder and more nasty drone inside the car. I dont have pics, but try and search for a pic of the HKS resonated pipe and the non-resonated pipe and you will see the difference. Even with the resonated pipe, my car is pretty loud but just the way I like it. Hope that helps, let us know what you do with it.
