It was probably a tuned GTR that did 179 mph. Stock is definitely under 170.

It was my GTR there the day they did that Shoot... I went 180.5, car has Jack Cecil Tune & Midpipe... other than that 100% Stock.

There was also a 2012 GTR there... 100% Bone Stock... that went 175... so 2012 GTR to New ZR1 looked to be heads up.

I'll be going back for the 'Mojave Magnum' this summer... 1.5 Mile Shootout... should be fun!

That's weird... At a 1/4 mile a stock GTR can trap up to 125 mph. A ZR1 should trap about the same with a decent driver like Mat. What happens then? From 125 to 175 mph, the ZR1 is supposed to accelerate faster! How is it possible to have the same trap speed at the end of the mile? I mean, ok, a Z06 should be neck and neck with the 2012 GTR... But ZR1 is faster than Z06!!!
