Car is a stock 2013. Ambient temperature in the low 70s. Was stuck in traffic for a good 20 minutes...
Traffic cleared and I opened her up.. car kind of fell flat on its face.
Running 91 octane + 2 gallons of e85. set to RRR
Looking at the boost gauge, it was spiking 15psi, settling down to 13ish ... but it feels like its pulling timing. Mid range feels a bit weak, top end is all but gone.
Is this normal? I'm thinking three possibilities..
1) car is right at the threshold between normal and safety boost - i.e. pulling timing but not yet boost
2) i drive a lot in traffic and don't get many chances to open it up. I've owned BMWs in the past where if you're too gentle with the car it learns your behavior and
3) boost leak?
