Seibon DVII hood is installed. I was surprised at how well it fit with zero finagling. I just bolted it up and fitment was almost perfect. I did adjust the fenders slightly to close the gaps up a bit but nothing extraordinary. This purchase was really unplanned but I was pulling a small dent out of my hood and the puller took the paint right off. I had already been planning to either buy this hood or add some rivet-on hood vents to help evacuate heat from the engine compartment and reduce front end lift so as soon as I saw that paint chip off I just pulled the trigger. I'll be running it exposed until I have the money for a full repaint at which time I'm considering painting all of the hood except for the U shaped area inside the vents and the two outer ducts. I just can't decide if it will be a good contrast or just tacky.

New OS Giken R3C triple plate clutch has arrived. Just waiting on the new OS Giken 26mm throw out bearing and sleeve as well as their metal alignment tool. This bad boy should be more than capable of taking all the abuse I plan to throw it's way while still delivering decent street driving characteristics.

Got the wastegate stub tacked up on the turbo manifold and fitment is perfect but probably wouldn't work with the ABS installed. Tial BOV flange, 4" velocity stack and IAT bung all got welded in place and are headed out for powder coating on Friday. Manifold and turbine housing will be ceramic coated in matte black while the intake/charge tubing will be powder coated in textured ravens black.

There are 2 ways to do car mods, marathon or sprint. Yours is definitely a sprint lol.
Hahaha, my friends/family tell me this all the time. I like to do it right the first time and then going forward hopefully my only expenses are maintenance related.

Since Ive been socially isolated for 11 days straight I found the time to mount the clutch and reinstall the gearbox. Rear main seal, input shaft seal and all diff/transfer seals were replaced at the same time. Also, bought the CWC alternator kit and an ACDelco GTO alternator and tossed that in. Last but not least, I bought an Attain GT rear heat shield and Colin clear corner lights.

I'm interested to see how the Colin Project corner lights look after they are installed, and also how well they fit.
Ill be sure to post some multi angle close ups, they appear as though they may be really tight to the end of the headlights once installed.

Lots of stuff going on since I've been home for 6+ weeks now.

Interior is essentially complete except for routing and tying the cables out of the way and wiring the Speedhut fuel level gauge into the fuel level sender. IC7 is connected and functioning. I made a DIN panel for the ATTESA controller button, knob and switch. CFAC carbon fiber armrest cover is installed and looks great. HVAC was moved to the ashtray location.

Installed an ATP catch can and retapped the valve covers for 3/4 NPT fittings as the 1/2 NPT threads weren't holding the fittings well. Removed the plug'n'play injector clips, wired in new EV14 clips and wrapped the entire injector harness in Raychem DR25. Installed a Leask Spec coolant tank. Finished up the 6boost/6262 single turbo setup, fabbed the downpipe and charge piping. Pulled the Treadstone 1200hp intercooler off my Corvette, made mounting brackets and mounted it in the GTR.

Finished up the ZLEDS Stage 2 tail lights and tested them out. Found out that the Absolute RLS125 relay fits right in the OEM flasher relay plug and eliminates hyperflash without the need for load resistors.

I've also got a Racing Service Takagi front diffuser and side steps on order through RHDJapan that are supposedly in stock and shipping this week. More pics to come as they come in.

Its coming along nicely. Love it. Ive had the zled lights for 2 years now and havent got around to installing them yet. As soon as I get my car back from corner balancing and alignment, Ill try to tackle that.

Be very, very conservative with the heat and prying. I broke a lense the first time through and I was barely prying. A 1.5 sliver just cracked right off of the edge.

It ended up working best by preheating them for 8-10 minutes in the oven at like 200* and then using a heat gun on low while moving around the black housing and not directly at the lense while using picks to slowly lift the lense out. I had to scrape some of sealant out while heating to get the picks all the way in.

Wow! Amazing process.
Thanks buddy. I just ordered a Garage Yoshida CF radio bezel that should be here in July and that should be the final piece to my interior puzzle.

RS-Takagi side skirts have been installed and will just need to be given the once over and then painted. As of right now I just have a bunch of little things I need to finish up but it's always the little things that get you.

Long time, no update. Got a lot done on the GTR and at this point I'm just finishing up a couple loose ends before getting it on the alignment rack and dyno so I can start enjoying the car.

Inching closer! I saw someone posted this on SAU and got excited, until I found out how much it costs... It's Motec's 12" display.

Yea, everything Motec makes is so expensive I dont even consider their products to be viable options for me. The guy that runs PRP usa is local to me and he just parted out his 1500hp R33 and he had almost the entire Motec catalog in that car.
