Hey everyone,

Thanks for the add. I have had a 2010 Gunmetal GT-R for about a year and a half now. It was imported from Canada before I picked it up. It has always been my dream car and I finally was able to make it happen. I came from a built Subaru STI that was making 500+ to the wheels, the GTR is definitely a different animal. Last summer I took it to the Tail of the Dragon in NC-TN and it gave me a whole new respect for the car.

I am going to start modifying, and began gathering parts for a FBO-ish setup. Trying to find some deals on the basics used first before getting all new. Planning on downpipes (picked up used AMS already), intakes, speed density with Tials, AEM 340's, ID1050X (Maybe ID1300's), street intercooler, DBA inlets (have already), and a new bell housing (I've noticed the occasional rattle currently). My car currently only has a mid-pipe and EBA titanium exhaust with valve locked in open position.

Outside of the GTR I daily a 2022 TRD Pro Tundra, I am a Production Engineer for Toyota Powertrain in Kentucky. Before the Tundra I've had both Gen1 and Gen2 Ford Raptors. I mountain bike, ride motorcycles off and on road and try to get the side by side out which never seems to actually happen.

Thanks for taking the time to read!

Enjoying the Beast for a year now...Welcome....hmmn. off topic; I would stay off the Tundra forum if you like your truck...lol
Coming from a Raptor I have a few minor complaints myself, but non of them involve getting to know the service department as well as I did at the Ford dealership. However, I could see myself content in a Gen3 Raptor for the right price at some point in the future.

^^ if I remember correctly @alexdavis has taken his TRD Tundra Pro to some extreme places.

And welcome - big GMG fan.

What are your thoughts for the first year of ownership ? is GodZILLA everything it’s all cracked up to be ? More ?

Thanks. The Pro is definitely a capable truck, I'm not unhappy with it, just kind of miss my old Raptor sometimes.

As for the car, I love it. It is a blast to drive around, always gets looks or catch people taking pictures of it when its parked somewhere. And then I took it to the Tail of the Dragon for a few very spirited runs and it gave me a whole new respect and love for it. I couldn't believe how it handled and just always wanted to go faster. So after a year or so of settling in, now its time to bump up the power a bit and take things to the next step. I do wish I had the budget for a 17+ just for the interior updates, but I'll be more than content with the CBA for a while!
