So excited, I just bought a 2nd Xbox. Just 3 weeks away. I won't be the one to say this looks better than GT5, but it looks *at least* as good and we know the physics engine is superior. I'm ready to get my race on!

i was about to start an official NAGTROC forza thread next week...but lets just make this one it...

im ready just need to figure out what wheel to get before i get too excited... i cant even play racing games one lap with a controller, its pointless

i know the fanatec forza wheel is coming soon for $249 but pedals are $149 more not sure i want to put $400 into as i just put that much into my cockpit

but there is also a new xbox licensed wheel by madcatz for $249... that has pedals

madcatz usually makes POS cheap wheels but this one looks a bit more higher end...so it might be an option...

lol.... I'm the other way, Matt. I suppose I could play with a wheel and pedals but always use the controller because I never know when I may play at someone else's house. And since I would not always have my steering wheel with me, I'd be at a severe handicap if that was the only way I played. At least with the controller, its the same no matter whose system I'm on.

Are there any good steering wheels for the Xbox like the G27 for the PS3? Every wheel I've seen cost more than $350.

logitech doesnt make one for the 360,, your only real options are the ones i posted above or try to find a used 360 wheel microsoft made for forza 3

im gonna probably just end up getting the madcatz and pray it doenst suck

I honestly think this game will be pointless without a proper steering wheel. If there is nothing close to the G27, I don't think this game will be that much fun. But the graphics are insane!

i mean the fanatec wheel is as good or better than the G27 ...but again its 249 + 149 for the pedals and a extra 59 if you want a shifter...

the biggest issue i see with madcatz is its not 900 degrees

I think I'm just going to save up for the Fanatec. I've played GT5 on the G27 and it's amazing; so anything below a Fanatec to me would be worth Forza 4. What do you guys think is better the GT2 wheel or the Crs?

probably the CRS as it was made specifically for forza4.... plus im not big on a porsche branded wheel..... nothing wrong with it but i dont own a porsche and its not really my thing

i wish the CSR pedals were available.... right now only the elite ones are out.... and i got to thinking worst case its only 149 more so in the long run 150 bucks is not a big deal if your stuck with a lesser wheel..

so on second thought im gonna get the CSR.... its gonna be 421 shipped to my house..... unless the CSR pedals come out in the next week or so...

so its a bit pricey but i'll live

yeah paddle is included

shifter its like $59 extra but i just use the paddles anyway so i dont need it

the thing about waiting is i sort of want to preorder is as its guaranteed delivery before the 15th... so worst case only 3-4 days after the game launch...
