Last track day my brakes got a bit soft later in the day. When I had my brakes bled prior to the event, I had my guy use the remainder of a bottle of Brembo LCF 600 I had sitting around from last season. Could that used bottle have taken on moisture over time? Plus, I asked him to just do a minimum bleed this time vs a nearly full flush like he usually does, since I only had 2 sessions on the last full bleed. Opinions?

I would say there was a good chance the opened bottle could have degraded, I also use the LCF600+ fluid but normally use 1 bottle every 2 to 3 TDs to bleed the brakes out and 2 - 2.5 bottles once per season to do a full change.

Thanks Storm, this is what I suspect happened. The old bottle was in my unheated garage from last summer, so it was a yr old. I've never had this problem before, and it was only about 70 deg F that day, although it is a tight course with a lot of hard braking.
