This is probably the most loosely moderated classifieds forum I have ever seen. I make it a point to include pictures with my screen name and current date with all my parts. Until the moderators step in and require it then i can see this type of thing happening often

hope they paid with a Credit Card through paypal. Paypal is terrible when it comes to claims...
Always had to end up calling my credit card to make a dispute.

I guess word to the wise, don't buy stuff unless you've done due diligence in asking for details, photos, etc because it is just too easy to scam on forums (no, it's not just NAGTROC).

That sucks. Just like they are trying to do vendor feedback they should do member classified feedback. Regardless tho anyone here with a certain amount of posts Or time on the board should have to have a pictures with the days date matching the day they put it up. If they don't the post Gets deleted without warning.

Had a bit of a snafu with boulder Nissan - ordered cf stereo/hvac panel and got what appears to be someone's lame switch job - 2012 knobs gone, old style on it with grimy coat on flat parts and cf panel had a tiny crack. Btw - cf overlay is a joke - glued onto old style panel. So, you're essentially paying $900 for knobs and $100 cf sticker.

Giving them benefit of the doubt that they didn't check the box before shipping but I'm probably just sending it back for a refund, not replacement. Bummed out...

I've dealt with Boulder countless time from questions to purchases, everything was handled professionally and they have the best prices hands down. Get a hold of [email protected], he'll straighten things out right away.

Reminds me of a time a scammer was on another forum ripping people off.

Users were able to take the photos he posted, combined with google street view, his IP address, a few forum tech junkies and found out where he lived. Was 36 pages of awesomeness.

His prices were a dead giveaway of a potential scam. They should have member selling rating next to your user name just like they do on evolutionm.net. It won't prevent all scams but would help to reduce it.

That's why you jump onto rsw.ne.jp and buy their hvac cf panel in matte

Cheaper and doesn't leave big gaps bw the buttons

Not sure I agree with that. Another midpipe sold a few days prior for $50 more. Also called paypal and they said if the seller doesn't respond to the claim they will refund my money. People here claiming PP will f you over is concerning. Is PP lying?

paypal will do everything they can to not give up their 3%(or whatever it is now). Thats also why they make it so hard for you to even find how to pay with a credit card, because they cant bully the cc company.
