Went to see BRIT Pink Floyd last night. Great show. Very good and cheap seats because the same night, Roger Waters put on his own variation of it in Chicago...it probably split the crowd. I went to the show in Rockford.

I've seen a number of Australian P.F. as well...all were good.

!!!

As one of the oldest members HERE, I watched the crowd and reflected upon how old we are now, and in many cases in poor condition. I doubt I saw anyone lastnight much under 50 years old, and many much, much older...or at least looking like they were. Still, it's attitude above evrything else...many were standing up, dancing in place, and waving their arms during "Run like Hell.."

Would be nice to see them close out something like a Lollapalooza and introduce the music to younger kids.

They jam and anyone that likes music for music would be instant fans.

I have been a huge floydian all my life. While Roger is great showman, his ego and the need to involve politics repels me from his shows. He thought the band wouldn't survive without him either yet Gilmore had multiple hits since his departure.

Maybe its my old age but I don't find him alone as good as pink floyd.

"Careful with that AXE Eugene.." Used very well with a specific slow-motion explosion in the movie Zabriskie Point.
(An otherwise disappointing movie by the director Michelangelo Antonioni, who has done much better)
