A co-worker of mine just got a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. It's an awesomw looking car, but I'm wondering what it's performance is like compared to the GTR- speed, handling, ride, etc. It's only listed as 385 hp, and 0-60 in 4.7, but does superior handling make up for it?

Uh... No

I've got seat time in anger in some 997 C4S cars & they don't compare to a GT-R--even the lowly '09s.

I did have the opportunity to drive a Ferrari 458 Challenge series car last fall, and felt the GTR- even a lowly '09- compared favorably. The Ferrari did have a better ride, which is surprising given the fact it's a track car, & not street legal.
