Hi,

Post up pictures of your phone mounts and locations. Any installs? With Waze becoming an Ally these days it does not hurt to have it place well, and not necessarily on your window blocking visibility.

Thanks!

Proclip on mine as well.
Not cheap though, you need to buy the piece for the car, and a piece for your device, about $80 total.

Any others that mount like the Brodit Proclip that are more universal?

I ask because I have a case for my phone. I'm prone to drop it as soon as I step out of the car, so the case is a necessity.

Brodit makes several clip options for the phones to accommodate different phones with and without cases.

I like that location. How is it mounted?
I've had ProClip mounts for a GT-R and several other vehicles. The way the clip in the photo is depicted, it clips onto the right frame of the console. I have one now for my '08 Pontiac G8 GT mounted up in the A/C vents, located just above the head unit. I prefer this over the side mount as in the photo, because my phone is located further down and to the right, so it is closer to eye level. But to each his own. Also, be VERY careful with clipping the piece on, as well as adjusting it. The clip end is very small and can break off (happened to me).

Could or would you mount the brodit so it was on the drivers side of the console? It looks good but I was wondering if being on the other side of the console it would be difficult to manage/glance at while driving. I am looking to get something to mount up my phone to use waze and escort live.

Looking at the selector on the brodit website the same mount is shown whether you choose left or right hand drive.

This is the phone holder I have my Note II mounted to via a ProClip in my '08 Pontiac G8 GT. I like it because it is more at eye level and closer to my center field of vision.

Has anyone used the ProClip to mount a V3 AccessPort? If yes, what phone clip holds the AP well? Thanks.
