I recently was running my stock black edition 20's on toyo R888 in front and in the back nitto 05r on 18's in the back got my drag strip set up. I got a flat on one of the nittos and now I find out that they are on national back order. Can someone suggest a tire I can use on my 18's that would be compatible with the stock 20's in the front?

Thanks in advance

m & h racemaster. I'm not sure about sizes...just make sure the overall tire diameter is close to your r888 fronts

Where are you located? I have a set of racemasters for 18" wheels. Brand new

Those may or may not work with the Toyo R888 285's up front. The tire diameter of the R888 is 27.7" and the 325-40-18 m & h is 28"....close, but not very close. Plus your toyo tires are worn a little in the front, so it would be an even bigger difference. I'm not certain. It just may work..

That is a great read with multiple opinions. Just keep in mind that your tires in the front are 27.7"....You want to be as close to that as possible...

All of them are good tires. IMO you should try the new Mickey Thompson ET Streets (R version). They're new and supposedly the shiznit!

I keep hearing that running 20s R888 up front in 285 and 18s NT05R rears in 315 will most likely damage your FWD unit due to the tire diameter difference.

That's the tire size, recommended wheel width, and overall tire diameter.
