is rattling a common thing in GTRs? I did an inspection this what guy said
Summary
This looks to be a decent vehicle with some issues of note. The body looks to be free of any prior impacts. There are some small paint nicks-chips and scratches (please see review and pics). Interior is in great condition outside of the face that the drivers seat back has the thread starting to fray on the lower section. Road test shows suspension has a good ride, but the tires are in need of replacement. The engine does have a timing chain type rattle on light acceleration and when starting. There are no codes in the system and monitors check good at this time. This is the one glaring issue that could prevent the sale. This should be further diagnosed before purchase. just like we said in your other thread pretty sure the inspector is mistaking the flywheel rattle ect (which is normal) for something else

to answer your question the GTR is a very mechanical sounding car unlike any other ive been around. it makes all kinds of sounds that in time the owner will learn. nothing is wrong with the car but it has a very light flywheel very tight clearances and the way the driveshafts are the sounds carry out under the car. the gears in the transmission also are submerged in oil so the sounds within the transmission itself are easily heard.

Have them check the brake calipers. There could be a pin of some sort that is causing the noise.
