I just test drove a 2009 GTR. It was parked on a slight hill. I noticed that when I put it into reverse and let off the brake, it moved forward like it wasn't even in reverse -- I had to give it gas (almost felt like I did a burnie) to get it to start backing up.

Is this normal?

I assume the road was angled so that the front of the car was pointed down? If so then yes, the car's transmission is more like a manual then an auto, so this is the period between let off and grab for the comp.
