I picked up my GT-R today from Matt and [email protected] DD and I am very happy with the quality of their work and the way I was treated. This is only my opinion, but if you google their shop or search most car forums you will why they are a top shop. Below are 10 specific reasons to support my point of view. BTW I thought the Laser Jammers would stand out, but they blend in and the fronts are real hard to see. I also feel the Laser Interceptor and Beltronics STIr Plus is the best set up on the market and Cliff at LI USA has great customer support.

1. Great comminication from the first contact
2. Spent time with me on the phone and in the shop. Eddie gave me a tour of their facilities and discussed MY specific needs regarding location of Laser Jammers/Radar and clear bra / tint
3.I origianlly wanted 40% tint, but due to getting older at 41(LOL) night driving can present some issues at times. Eddie LISTENED and recommended a lighter tint and I went 50% and it is perfect. I have the 50% 3M Crystalline with has a total solar energy rejection(TSER) of 56 % which is heat reduction. To put into perspective standard 5 % limo tint has a TSER of 57%. So I get the heat reduction with out windows being too dark and the hassles that come with it. BTW with the small dark cabin of the GT-R I think it looks perfect.
4. Their shop is very clean and you could eat of their floors. A clean shop is a very good sign of the people working within the shop will be perfectionist.
5. Speaking of perfection, it took Eddie 9 attempts to tint the rear window. So that is 8 pieces in the garbage. There is an issue with the curved rear window and the Crystalline(does not stretch) like normal tint and the heat to adhere the tint shrinks the tint and you get creases. the 9th attempt was the charm and the tint looks great.
6. Detailing Dynamics works on many high end cars "F" cars "P" ect...
7. They took the time to explain the care for the clear bra including written instructions
8. When I left the shop Eddie gave me a boutique bag with detailing supplies(detailing spray, microfiber, car wash soap, ect...) and a T shirt
9. Eddie and Matt made me feel like I was their only customer
10. Eddie and Matt although costing more than most shops will work with you on the price.

Enjoy the pictures and anyone interested in Detailing Dynamics in the NY,NJ, CT Tri-State area feel free to drop me a PM

Looks great! congrats again on the car. I went to detailing dynamics for my ISF for a detail as well as clear bra for my ventross front lip. Unfortunately, they are way over priced is my two cents, but they do, do excellent work. Matt has great customer service and you will always see ferraris porsches, bentleys astons lambos. He does every car, and pays attention to detail.

Also picked my GTR from DD today and also very very pleased with the results. However, i do have a story which sucks but DD clear bra saved the day!

So my GF and I stop to pick up my GTR from DD this morning and decided to go out to get some food. Found a parking space that could have fitted 2 cars but i decided to take up the whole space with my GTR. We go inside the resturant and we were there for about an hour. After leaving, we walk to my car and to my horror, there was a red truck parked within 3 inches of my front bumper. At this point, there was no doubt in my mind that this guy backed into my bumper. So i walk over to the front of my car and noticed 2 marks in the clear bra that seemed pretty deep and 1 mark ontop of the front bumper right before the hood (from the plastic casing for the spare tire).

Pissed off, i left a note on the guys car saying that i hope he dies in a fire. Decided to head home and look at the damage. To my amazment, the car was untouched. The clear bra saved my paint from all 3 hits. Ill post up pics of the damage later, but i couldnt be happier =).

not going to lie, but taking up two spaces causes people to do that...I realized that...if anything park far if available and walk the extra steps to the place. People's mentality nowadays is "who the hell are you, getting to take up two spaces" and they want to do something to your car. I mean IMHO i would be angry also but thats me.

Parked 6 blocks away, and that was the closest. And if that was the mentality of this guy, I would of had a destroyed bumper cause that truck was a pos.

Yea the irony lol if you had a GTR that was 2 weeks old parking in queens you would understand.

Whether you drive a Nissan or a lambo still no reason to take up spots.

Unless you drive a hummer.

You know, I understand seeing a 'nice' car in the back of a lot with 2 spaces, but I don't get seeing the Kia Forte or some econo box doing it.

I am not saying you should do it, but there is a reason for some folks.

Bumping this thread.

I'm going to swing by DD this week and get a quote. I think clear bra and tint will be my Christmas present to myself this year.

I'm most concerned about the area in the front of the rear wheels, but I will probably get the hood, and maybe front bumper done also.

I just saw Eddie today. He is a great guy and will treat you and your GT-R very well. I started out as a customer and have made a new friend in Eddie. Tell him you know me from the forums i am sure you will be very happy with his work.

I have wanted to try DD for a long time, they get nothing but great reviews from everyone.

50% tint looks very dark in your pics, I'm debating between 40 or 50% right now. I have 15% on my truck, and all previous cars, but i feel the GTR gets too much attention from the police as is. 40/50% will help with the glare, and should not cause too much problem with the police.
