Fellow Motorheads,

Just wanted to share one of our recent projects, aptly called "Art In Motion".

Way before we initially opened our doors, this vehicle was bought to us. In its original state, it was a WRX, but it wouldn't stay that way for long. The initial issue that we ran into, was the lack of aftermarket support for the WRX as compared to the Sti. Hence, we went ahead and converted the vehicle into an Sti and that paved the path for all future mods.

To power our beast, we opted to go with a Cosworth 2.7L engine, which was completely build, blueprinted and balanced by Cosworth. With the addition of the Cosworth cylinder heads, the engine was complete. Providing the puff for all of this is a APS turbo kit (which we managed to snatch, before APS stopped production). A Motec M800 was installed to handle the tuning aspects of this setup. Power is transferred to the ground via an Sti gearbox and Sti Diffs. The stock clutch kit was swapped out for an Exedy Triple Plate Clutch Kit. To help stop this potent combo, a Brembo Big Brake Kit was outfitted to the vehicle on all four corners.

The suspension was spec'd out with street use in mind. Although the car is lowered on Teins, the suspension has adequate suspension travel, helping soak up the nasty bumps. With the intention of reducing chassis flex and allowing the suspension to function as it should, chassis bracing was addressed by the addition of Front & Rear Strut Bars, Lower control arm bars and a few bits and pieces as well.

To wrap up the whole package, we decided to do a Widebody kit to completely transform the vehicle. The end result was a aggresive looking Scooby, that still has a spark of sophistication in it.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so enough with my blabbering and onto the pictures galore.
