For states that do sniffer test emission, will this allow them to pass if they had catless midpipes or will both cats still need to be in place?

That's a great question and I don't think it's been answered here on the forums. I was planning on running these for the black smoke/fumes/soot related benefits of having cats, and was planning on throwing back on the stock midpipe right before a check since it only takes a few minutes to switch out the mid.

California just stopped using the "sniffer" test during the smog check a little over a year ago. As long as you are not showing a CEL, its game on. I'll let somone else chime in with first hand smog experience though.
