I recently had the stereo upgraded in my car. Eric Bronke @ AutoWerks - (Northbrook, IL) completed the install today. I have attached some pictures taken with the iPhone. Higher quality ones to follow.

Are you adjusting volume with gt-r oem control or strictly with the audison? Are you using any of the other inputs on the audison?

Looks awesome! Only thing I don't like is the GT-R logo, it's the older logo and not the current one.

i can answer that having a bitone in my hooptie (not gtr). its night and day better. i forgot which audiocontrol i originally had but the bitone is top notch. there is so much you can control and adjust. you mainly do that on your laptop tho as you plug in a usb connected to the main unit and do all the tweaking on your computer. the remote is just good for adjusting volume and sub and looking really cool imo. i miss my bass nob and may bring that back. you do not need to use the remote at all if you choose not to. you can control volume on the radio. fyi if you ever get a bitone get it from an authorized dealer and have them do the install because these things have issues.

Light deadening was applied in typical areas. Will need deaden area where trunk lid meets window as it is the main source of rattle. Sound is a night and day difference. Staging is spot on with the Bitone. Did not notice the logo was not the current one for our car :-(. Guess I'll just call it a throwback??? Not familiar with the Audiocontrol to make an opinion on which is better. My two Audio Consultant both encouraged me to do the Bitone. I use the bitone for EQ settings and sub level control. Kept the volume use at the radio as I wanted to retain control using the factory controls. As I need to get the logo fixed, any thoughts on how to get the lighting to flow better with rest of the trim? I am ultimately not a huge fan of the visibility of the LEDs as it looks like X-Mas lights. I think a diffused trim ring, like the front doors would be better suited. In the re-design do I keep the "GT-R logo" or ditch it in favor of a diffused trim only? Will throw up a mock drawing shortly. I hope I have addressed everyone's pending questions.

Attached is a mocked up version for next design. The black is a gloss piano black that is used around woofers and mid bass. The red edge would mimic the same bevel and lighting used on those other speakers as well. I would use an actual emblem for the logo or an acrylic on lit from behind. Adding speaker mesh opposed to the grill cloth for durability. Thoughts?

It's night and day difference, I thought the other one was good, but I'm blown away at the mockup design. I like it a lot more.
