We have completed many different variations of turbo packages for the VR38 platform since the GTR's debut. From our SPE750 packages to our Godzilla package, Jason's GTR is our very first HKS GT800.

Engine:
Greddy 3.8L Short Block
- JE Pistons
- Carillo Rods
Tomei PON Camshafts 256/264
HKS Head Gasket + Manifold Gasket
HKS GT800 Turbo Kit
Greddy 29R XL Intercooler Kit + Greddy Blow Off Valve
SP Engineering 90MM Suction Kit + Greddy AIRNIX Filter
Titek SUS Resonated Mid Pipe
HKS Legamax SUS Exhaust
HKS Spark Plugs
HKS Dual Fuel Pumps
ID1000CC Injectors
SPE Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit
SPE Oil Catch Can

Transmission:
SP Engineering Stage 1 Transmission
- PPG 1st Gear
- Dodson Circlips 1&2
- Dodson Gear Lock
- Dodson Oil Pump Upgrade
- Dodson O-Ring
- Exedy Steel Plate
- 7 Disc Clutch Upgrade (14 Disc)
Greddy DCT Cooler

COBB AP
- SPE Tuned Speed Density

Low end response is definitely there. We have compared data between different turbo packages and feel the HKS GT800 is one of the best kits out in the market for street or track usage up to 900 AWHP depending on your supporting mods.

829 AWHP / 764 TQ @ 1.8 BAR using 104 Sunoco Fuel.

We have ran out of fuel at this power level but more can be achieved out of this package.

Did you sleeve/liner the bore or hone the bore to accommodate the new pistons?

Debating on doing the GT800 kit and would like to know what is involved.

The power level Jason wanted, we did not go with a sleeved motor. The JE pistons were ordered accordingly to the factory bore.

Give me a call or email if you have any further questions!
