T-REX Head units (specifically 2015/16) Bose Amp issue

So I recently purchased a T-Rex head unit, installed it per their guidelines (has been confirmed through TREX) but found that I don't have any sound. After reaching out to T-Rex they informed me that specific to the 2015/16s there is an issues with the head unit and the amp "talking" to each other. My understanding from them is currently they believe these amps require constant Canbus Communication but it doesn't sounds like this has been confirmed.

What I've tried so far:

2012 Amp swap - This didn't work as the 2012 has only 2 wiring harnesses and the 2015 has 3.

2012
Hand Automotive tire Space bar Hood Office equipment

2015
Hand Guitar accessory Automotive lighting Automotive tire Sleeve

Here is a Link for the 2015 wiring harness schematics.

Now to be clear I'm just a car enthusiast that likes to get his hands dirty, I don't necessary know wtf I'm doing all the time haha. So here are my question.

Could a work around be to run a (5 or 12 amp) ignition wire to the ACC in the harness?

What are your thoughts?

I looked at getting the T-Rex unit until they told me it doesn’t work with the 16 without a lot of effort. Let us know if you figure it out. The unit is sick!
My suggestion is to consult with an audio shop. They should have no issue diagnosing it.
I have a 15. I was in the beta group. I eventually sent my unit back as advice from T-rex is that you can only get 15/16 GTR's to work with their unit if you add an aftermarket amp. That was beyond what I wanted to do to modify the stereo system.
any updates ? as I am stuck in this rabbit hole....
Don't think so. As far as I know, if you have a 15/16, you still need to do the amp swap
I tried installing the TRex into my 2016. I ended up taking it to custom stereo shop, I consulted 3 different shops and they all said the same thing. I had to buy an amp to run mids and highs, and a separate amp for the subwoofer, you also need another sub, you can’t use the stock one, it sounds like garbage anyways. It e up being really expensive to install one of these in a newer car. I opted for more high end speakers and amps. Total cost with installation was around $10k

Wow
Just an FYI, our latest models are now compatible with the OEM amp in 2015 and 2016. Sorry it took so long.
