Talk is cheap if you can't bring it behind the wheel. You've seen the episodes of The Forum Wars presented by Royal Purple, and you've thought, "I could do better than that!" Here's your chance, as recruiting is set to begin for The Forum Wars Season 2.

Would you like to represent NAGTROC on the track in your GT-R? Are you willing and able to competitively run a ¼ mile drag race, autocross style road course and a 0-100-0 competition against an New Porsche 911 Turbo from 6SpeedOnline? We want you to compete on The Forum Wars Season 2 that will be filmed in Houston, Texas at the Royal Purple Raceway the weekend of Jan. 8, 2011.

Racers and fans of the inaugural season of The Forum Wars will experience better competition as the new season will include:

· ¼ mile NHRA drag strip
· Improved road course design
· 0-100-0 racing
· Cars and drivers nominated and approved by the forums
· Additional track time for the drivers
· More evenly matched vehicles with similar mods and tires

This season's eight (8) episode series will be promoted on national television, SPEED, and posted and promoted all over the internet. To sweeten the deal, prizes will be awarded to participants from Royal Purple, Magnaflow Exhaust, Eibach Springs, Mothers Polish and more.

If you want to represent your forum on The Forum Wars Season 2, please reply to this post. Or, if you would like to nominate a NAGTROC member, you can submit his or her name.

We are looking forward to an improved and incredible season with a great day of competition and fun at the track! Don't wait to nominate! Nominations will close December 20th.

There will be lots of folks on here who would do it. What's most important is that this group nominate the right person. When I first started tracking 5 years ago in a Noble, I got passed by miatas. Additionally, you don't want some DB making the car and this site look like jacklegs. I'd recommend you find someone who does the following:
1) Drive darn well to best guarantee a victory. Someone with a LOT of track experience, preferably race experience.
2) Presents themselves in a professional manner and has a LOT of experience doing so.

With that in mind, knowing you want to send your absolute best, you're best off sending Sharif or Brian Lock. I don't know of anyone in this community who has the experience driving this car at it's limit and dealing with others & the media while doing it.

If you are going for something televised, I would suggest adding a true road course to the event. If this was in So Cal, I can think of one or two GT-R owners I would nominate.

We might have a few cars to offer up

Eric
I agree...2 cars to offer up would be the thing to do. One car could be stock (well...maybe with just a "light" ecu tune...lol). And a second one that is modded to the hilt and that is set-up to run on a road track...

The drivers have to be good under pressure and know how to win.
