I happened to notice while looking through the 31 page wheel thread that tire shine is about as uncommon these days as a 1970's full bush... That said, what are you guys doing with your tires? Just cleaning them? Without retro tire shine I am at a loss as of what to do with my tires.

I don't give a damn about pretty tires my wheels are another subject.
After heat cycling my tires I'm not putting anything but soap and a water on them.

Another one for Adams SuperVRT!
Very nice natural looking finish. Not glossy and no sling on the sides of the car. Dry to the touch.

I want to use something that doesn't fling. Looks like Adams and Optimum both might fit that bill, yeah? How long do they take to fully dry?

Depends on what I have in the fridge, but most of the time I use raspberry balsamic vinaigrette.

Adams VRT... use it on all my clients cars, and always get great feedback. The trick is to apply it, then wipe it off with a terry cloth towel/rag. Leaves a super matte, clean finish. Never slings, and it is dry to the touch.

The super sheen bling bling shines look tacky IMO

Funny story about tire dressing... My buddy called me one day and goes his girlfriend has been applying it to the whole tire lol. Tread part and all... Goes she wanted the whole tire shiny and thought that's the way it was applied.....

megs hyper dressing is the best imho. Used opti gel zanio and many others but the versatility of megs hyper dressing is awesome. Plus you dilute it to whatever shine you want. From super slick to a very natural matte look. Also price is awesome.
