TP and CC after building transmission *UPDATE*

Just had my gearbox built with superstock clutches, 1st gear and shaft, pump and the usual other little bits.

What CC and TP settings do you guys usually adjust to after a build?

1st and 2nd are not particulalry smooth driving around town but the higher gears hold power and shift very well.

I've got the same build on mine and a couple others and i've tried everything under the sun. You can get it ok, but not great. I haven't been able to get 1st and 2nd as nice as i'd like them in all conditions.

My TP are relatively high and CC at 0 or below.

What fluid are you one Tony, I'm working with Martin to test a special blend of his fluid designed for built transmissions. Will give feedback as soon as I test
I'm using Dodson fluid at the moment. Have thought about trying something else but haven't yet. Let me know what you find.
I filled up the GR6 with Martin's new special blend of transmission fluid and have noticed a marked improvement of 1st and 2nd gear behaviour over the Dodson fluid.

I'm presently running LC2 so that I retain the ability to adjust tp and cc and relearn.

I plan to put about 300 miles on the gearbox so I'll give further feedback.

Good work paparazzi, glad to hear its all paying off for you.
Might have to call this new fluid - WR35TMBTDF (Built Transmission Driveability Fix) !

Drove it again since my last post. It's getting even better as the new fluid circulates and gets into the clutch packs.

The clutch take up is alOt more predictable also
I've managed to get 1st gear very nice and smooth. 2nd gear is still a bit grabby at hot temps coming onto the throttle but it is definitely an improvement!

I think once I switch to LC4 its going to be even better.
Good to hear! Martin, PM me some info on this fluid when you get a chance.
