Depends on a few things.

- your size

- your goal (FIA certified, light weight, visibility, type of use i.e. road course or drag strip)

- your budget

A lot of people go with Technocraft seats (padding is added for comfort) and then I've seen just about anything from base Sparcos to seats that cost more than upgrading a transmission.

I use the RaceTech RT4009W for both driver and passenger seat. I drive 2 hours to the track, race around for the day, and drive 2 hours home. All perfectly comfortable.

I do have the extra lumbar cushion also.

I run OMP HTE-R’s in my track M3 and very happy with them - but I wouldn’t buy any seats without sitting in them first. Such a personal choice here - big difference from person to person. Might also good idea to wear your helmet when trying them out.
