Just did mine yesterday, one word AWESOME, gearshift is very smooth, most impressive is the accerleration from low speed (as low as 10km/h) in 2nd gear where it will buck previously now it just accelerate cleanly...

Only minus point now is the slight rattle when coming to a stop which will be address once this update becomes official. It can be managed now by braking though so not a issue for me.

Thanks to MB (keith) :)

Seriously, what exactly are you using? Cobb NIS-Ap005 LC2 Level 2? LC2 Level 1?

Just upgraded my Cobb to NIS006 with the 2012 TCM. Most importantly, moving off in 1st, I no longer get that sudden jerk. Shifts are great too... I just might consider driving in Auto for once! Hah...

Late to the party but I agree 100pct with all comments on a new gearbox for the GTR. I have never been able to stomach the auto mode, but after the time consuming reflash yesterday, it is a totally totally new beast. I didnt mind it at all yday evening and my drive today morning. Wont last long as I love the manual mode, but it is definitely a MUST do for all.

Not 100% sure how our brethren without the Cobb can access it - whether via the Consult or how, but I am sure there should be some way. Happy to help dig out more info or post a step by step if someone needs it.

Yeah this is a must do. The move off from stationary is almost seamless now; world of difference from stock. Shifts are even smoother, especially at low speeds; the changing of gear on auto from 2nd to 1st seems to be without the ''clunk'' now. Great stuff!

Unfortunately havent heard any of the workshops running updates via Consult 3 ATM. All patches have been delivered via Cobb.

As Braco already suggested, take a trip down to MB Motors and talk to Keith and invest in a Cobb Accessport NIS-006 (with the TCM capability). well worth the money IMO
