You can clear over the annodizing I think, but I don't think that provides color stability - I wouldn't swear to it though - Annodizing actually provides for an amazing service for paint - Are you attempting to get that shiny annodized look or do you want annodized for a reason? - That shiny look can be achieved with a multi coat/stage powder coat - HRE for example uses a "Bronze Chrome" powder coat to achieve a bronze annodized look that is color stable and much more resistant to environmentals.I was thinking of getting a used set of Advan GT and have them Annodized. But if can't clear it and it will not hold the color. I will probably just go with Powder coat in RED.
