I remember reading about it on here a while back.

Recently, I've been seeing some midpipe/tune DBAs struggling to hit those kind of trap speeds.

How many other stock 2013s (or DBAs for that matter) have gotten close to those speeds at 10.8x or 10.9x?

I ran a 10:91 with a completely stock 13 BE on 93 octane

125 isnt that out of the ordinary for solid stock runs in 2012 or 2013 cars. my 2012 trapped 125 at least 5-6 times

it became more uncommon after the optinonal and then rolling change octane tweak on the ECU

My '13 did 11.1 @123 with bad tires and completely stock and most people were surprised around where I live.

Fikse knows the car. He has it as profile pic. Red black edition 2013 trapped 10.8 I think bone stock.

2013 was by far the fastest year.

2016s are trapping 11.7 lately which I'm quite dissapointed with.

I have a 2013 that went 10.79 @ 126.8 showroom stock. I've had runs that were 10.8x @ 127 though

Here are some of my times off my slips. Keep in mind different tracks can read different mph's. I ran 121-122 all day at one track and the next day 123-125. So sometimes it's how the lasers read you at the end. All of the 122 mph and slower runs were one track and the 123 and up was another track. I listed the times in highest to lowest mph order.

The car was totally stock. No messing with tire pressure, touch points, or clutch capacities at all.

Ah, errormacro, that was yours then.. i knew I saw it in a sig somewhere.

Those are crazy times. Do you have any numbers after a few mild mods? How fast were you running with just a midpipe? or midpipe+tune?

It just boggles my mind.. recently, zhound posted his dyno run of 527whp dynojet (intake/midpipe/tune zhound correct me if I'm wrong) and I think he was trapping 124-125 this past weekend. Does that mean when you hit 127, you were making more than that level of power bone stock? I suppose the weather this past weekend in socal has been horrible, maybe that can account for it?

I have yet to take my 2013 out.. I think I'm going to wait until it cools down for a bit.

yeah I agree. my local 1/8th mile is exactly 3mph high in the left lane as I know my car doesnt trap 104 on that side when I Vbox 101 in the right

This is true and trap speed is indicative of power/weight ratio. More power/less weight = higher trap. I use a Vbox for accuracy.

That is why at dragtimes.com most runs are on the left lane at PBIR because it reads 3-4 mph higher! Go look at any personal best on trap, nobody ran on the right lane. People running at right lane will get humble quickly.

TIP: You own a 13 and your car was flashed with the 91 octane tune and you want the original 93 octane flash back.

Install a Cobb AP and don't save your stock tune while doing so.

When you uninstall the AP software it will install the original Nissan 93 octane tune. Have fun trapping 125+ stock!
