Did you overpay to secure your GT-R? I know few people who thought the there will be no more GT-Rs at the end of 2021 and overpaid big time, now they regret it.

Year/ miles / over amount
Friend 1 of mine 2021 GT-R / 13k mile / 140k price - bought March of 2022
Friend 2 of mine 2023 GT-R - MSRP. - bought February 2023

Do your friends feel they overpaid or are they happy with their purchase given the best information they had available at the time of purchase?

“Overpaid” is such a subjective term to throw around, each one of us has a different perspective on what things are worth at any given point in time.

That is so true. Whatever it’s worth to you is what it’s worth. That being said. With the listed used cars for sale. How much wiggle room would someone be able to haggle on a used GTR? $2k, $5k more? Hope I’m not hijacking the original posters question.
I think I got a fair deal. I paid $135,200 out the door (Tax, title, tags, etc) - 2023 Premium White with Kuro Knight Leather and the first aid/USB cord package.

Paying whatever the market dictates the price as being is not overpaying, even if the price drops in the future, FWIW.
^+1 - only people who really DIDN'T overpay were the ones who were getting $10K rebates a few years back. Everyone else is paying MSRP or higher for the most part throughout the life of this platform. Did I get a "deal" paying only MSRP? Perhaps, since most dealers were marking up above that at the time. But even paying the markup would have been a fair price depending on when the buyer was looking for the car. based on the market demand.

Cars today and everything is up because our money is toast.

2009 FBO, all fresh fluids and filters, rebuilt bellhousing by jacks, upgraded wheels/tires, full front clear bra, cf vinyl wrap on the lower trims to help protect them, 33,500 miles @ $72,000 2 and half months ago.
Personally I think I did pretty well given it's condition despite having 4 previous owners. Maybe I could've saved a sizable chunk of cash, but I don't regret the purchase at all.
