Starting to think about winter and the doldrums of Dec - March in Michigan and wondering about finding a track that I could ship my GTR down to and rent a garage and keep then fly down once a month or so and run the road course. Would like to limit to the South east or South west where I can get cheap flights via Air tran or SW on a direct basis from Grand Rapids MI. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this type of winter arrangement and what courses they would recommend for this type of activity. Maybe a pipe dream but I thought I would through it out.

I will start by mentioning places I can get cheap direct flights to - Atlanta, dallas, houston, memphis, orlando, tampa, st pete and sanford, FL. Open to others but thought I would start there. Any experience with costs (i.e. memberships and garage rentals?

I am sure you can rent something for couple hundred a month. If you want to store in Orlando, I might be able to find something.
