i will be curious to see how this nismo compares laptimes to new porsche gt4 and 992. i have feeling they will all be closer than should be. why cant nissan upgrade to top of the line tires like everyone else? mpsc 2R would be a huge upgrade. why continue with run flats when no one else uses them?

This just points to where pricing is heading for the eventual R36. The fact that they discontinued the lower price bracket (Pure) and pushed the bracket even higher tells you where the demand is. I dont doubt the R36 premium (if theres such a model) will be around $145K-$150K (todays value of money). I mean why wouldnt you pay $150K for a 700 hp GTR that can presumably do 0-60 in under 2.9 sec and 1/4 mile in the mid 10. Especially when the car now also has a full napa dash and semi-aniline hand stitched interior. I think for 2020 Id take the Track Edition with no CC brakes and the bayside blue if Im in the market for one again. Thats the best value and would be THE perfect GTR for me (if theyd also include the alcantara headliner and sun visor). I like mine all stock and premium but yet still goes like bonkers. Im surprised though the R35 seems to be stuck at 600 hp when people can get almost 700 hp with a simple tune. But I recognize Nissan is respecting the toner scene to give them room to play around with and Im sure they want to keep warranty costs low.

It's because they aren't reliable at 700hp. It's not going to last lots of hard miles with that HP.

Those cf parts... Hood, trunk, roof, etc... That's all new for 2020, correct?

If some folks are willing to pay 100k+ to convert their GT-R to CF body panels using non-OEM parts and processes, what's so absurd about the asking price of the new Nismo that'll include those panels from the factory?

Red looks so awesome! When I ordered my 19 Nismo I asked my buddy, who is the owner of the dealership, if we could get a red one.... he said not a chance lol

Red makes the carbon pop more than probably any other color

is the hood CF weave a different pattern than the rest of the cars carbon? maybe a different manufacturer or different application?

Hmmm isn’t Tennessee the home headquarters for NNA? Maybe the first one is going to be trotted around town by a Nissan VIP?

Most likely the car that will be making the magazine rounds I'm assuming

The red one looks sweet . It's cool Nissan is bringing back red Nismo here as there was no red 17-19 Nismos here
