Can I easily switch mid pipes on a 2017 GTR?

Hello,

I would like to add a mid pipe to my 2017 GTR (I did that for my 2011 and my 2015, and it made a world of difference). I would likely go with the got boost non resonated. A couple of questions:

Does anyone here have any experience with adding a mid pipe to theirs?

Same fitment as previous years?

Any issues with the valve? I believe that only affects the catback?

I'm also thinking of doing the same but I have one more question and is about emission.We it pass emission with no problem?

I have changed out both my Mid pipe and Down pipe. The Down pipe is a much burger job. Mid pipe is actually pretty easy. 30 min job.

Yes it's the same fitment as the 09-16. The valve is on the catback portion so just changing the midpipe won't give you any problems.

Daddy21, I believe you can purchase catted mid pipes, which should solve the emissions worries. Additionally, the downpipes already have cats.

Friend put an HKS resonated midpipe on his 17 and mounted up perfectly fine w/o any issues and the valve works perfectly fine.

Midpipe is a very easy job, you should be able to do it with no problems

You guys are all right and thank you , I did it with in 30 minutes and the car runs and feels different and also sounds perfect with a 3 -1/2 HKS non resonated mid pipe . It should of came this way or at least give you the option from factory!
