Curious to know of what the opinions are on aftermarket seats for the gtr. The side bolsters on the stock seats are a little narrow for my liking and also feels very high in seating position. ( I’m 6’1” ). Wanted to know what my options might be for a wider and lower seat. Thanks in advance

What do they charge for the NISMO seats? I assume they would fit in a premium with no modifications?

Aren't the sportsters even more narrow than OP's stock seats?

OP at 6'5 and with lats stock seats are tough and the black edition are even narrower so you know. Also dangerous with a helmet as it contacts ceiling.

Search google for "widening stock GTR seats" a shop can do it as opposed to taking a prybar to it.

I can't find the original from years ago but found this.

I run Recaro CS Sporters with an AMS Seat bracket on driver side and a Planted Technology bracket on passenger seat to get the heights close as possible. I'm 5 foot 10 inches and 195 pounds. The OEM Black edition seats aren't wide enough for my shoulders and back and make me feel pinched on the back rest part of the factory seat. The CS Sportster is Very Comfortable would recommend them for sure.

Nice look! Where did you get the red inserts? And how much higher is the driver's seat with the AMS bracket than OEM height?

Thanks I had the inserts custom done in red perforated alcantara. I was trying to replicate the nismo seats at the time.

The driver ams seat bracket is fine just slightly lower than oem but the passenger side bracket from ams makes the passenger seat sit higher than the driver side.

I found if you use a planted technology bracket just on passenger side they sit even. If you use two planted brackets they will still be uneven height wise.
