How much money does it take to maintain a 2014 GTR monthly?

How much am I looking at with insurance and just maintaining the car every month? I am 18, I make $70-100k a year, $4-6k a month. Is this enough to maintain a 2014 GTR premium? I am planning on using this car as a daily driver.

That 14 should not cost a lot monthly but when out of warrantee POS and other items will add up.

Seems like something that either is commission based, or allows overtime.

I'll say it should be enough if there aren't any other bills.

It depends on priorities. I'm not sure if you've already bought the car, leasing, financing, etc... If financing, I have no idea amount financed, etc...

If using warranty, the maintenance isn't much per year (about $2k, including partial tire/brakes, fluids, etc...). First year was practically nothing, second year (for me) was about $4k (tires/front brake pads/fluids).

Insurance premiums might be a bit high, but individual to everyone (trends suggest you may be paying $200 or more per month).

Buying a 100k car with top end of income at 100k.... :/

I am new to the forum and researching as you are, I am at 350k and looking at the used gt-r's in the mid 60's.

To each their own, but I think you will regret it, especially if you are not paying cash for the vehicle. I am young-ish (33) and have been through many cars, if someone told me not to spend my entire salary on a car when I was 18, I wouldn't have listened, but wish that I would have.

(Unless of course you are leaving out another source of income, trust payments, lottery winnings, stupid-rich parents that buy you the car).

Needs more information. What other obligations do you have? How much free cash do you have? If your job is commission based then base it off the lowest number. Daily driver? Without more information no one can really help. Then again you're 18 and probably don't know better. Try owning another car first

So many variables thats one you will have to make up a budget and see. Find out your insurance costs, other possible bills or debt, how much wear and tear is on the car now and how long you will keep it will determine how much maint. it will need. How much money you will pay down, will you be borrowing and if so what interest rate will you pay. Just too many variables for anyone to know unless you provide every bit of data. Honestly, if it were me at 18, I would love to do it but I wouldn't

Making 70 to 100k is a 30k swing either way! If you are on the low end and after taxes, theres not much left after cost of living and insurance and possible loans. Again, too many variables.
