love it when my gtr friends answer the questions

not wanting to confuse people anymore than some are, but what if i said you can also tune the suspension ECU. yes there's a suspension ecu. GT-R has 4 ecu's

Does that require another external controller?

Essentially the difference between the firmware was the PWM signal to the coil. Now in the firmware 3.6 (email me for it), we have a smoother control and the percentage of power can be user modified.

On testing, approximately 60% PWM signal is enough power to fully lock the diff and provide 50/50 torque split. So 60% is a standard set level to get maximum split, then the coil can be strengthened by the PWM signal. For start program, we give maximum power to give maximum grip. But this can be adjusted up or down as the user sees fit.

I believe it goes like this:

Map 0 is rwd
Map 1 25%
Map 2 35%
Map 3 Full AWD

If that's the case, I'm sold. How much does this bad boy cost? It's not on Linneys site.
I would get the traction control dial as well. I found it's an easy way to keep planted. Turn up the traction when it rains, turn it it down when its hot outside. I just used it on Saturday. Wanted to race a Mclaren 650S and noticed i was spinning so I turned up the traction before racing him.

I absolutely love this controller but mine is going to have to go up for sale after only 2 weeks of use due to some unfortunate circumstances leaving me without a GTR so I do not have a need for one at the moment. It has the most updated version with the new maps. Please PM me if interested.

Hi Guys,

The AWD Controller is under the right seat, right? (I have a RHD vehicle)

And do I need to cut the carpet to get to the Styrofoam?

Thanks
It's under the passenger seat for LHD r35s. It doesn't require cutting the carpet, just the styro foam under it.

Having troubles hooking up to tablet to update firmware. Is there a step by step? I installed and got the ability to change maps but when I hook up USB I only get Process Updater....box and nothing happens.

Tried while car is running and when off and with ignition on...what am I missing? Cable all hooked up but nothing happens.

I can switch maps so the AWD controller seems to be working. And so far its been a dramatic difference. No more throttle shut off on hard third gear pulls when I don't have traction control on R or off. I like it.

2. setup - updater, then uploader the firmware i mailed you

just email me is easier

Had an issue where after installing the controller, i was basically burning out at launch.
Unchecked burnout button, Reinstalled all maps, same thing.
Tried reinstalling the oem controller, I was getting an error message to go visit the dealer.so I put Ben's controller back, no error message.

Ben thought it might be the front ets clutch or tires so had the car checked and tires replaced. No problem with the car but same thing was happening.first mechanic thought it might be my new nto1 tires.Went to get the car checked again at spe with the oem controller this time and drove it with the error message on the dash. Finally found the problem. A blown ets fuse. I was advised by spe to disconnect the battery when I put the awd controller back. Now it's working.
Just a heads up in case it happens to someone else.

wanted to chime in about my newly installed Linney AWD controller. I love it, quick install, works independently with any engine tuning and management (I have Cobb ap) works great and have beat on my stock trans for over 2,400 miles with FBO 93 TUNE,no issues to report.

cheers Ben for a great product !
