Hi Guys,

i bought one of this electric control module for replace my old one. But when i plug in the new one, the car have non electric support and cannot start engine. If i plug back the old one, everything fine. May i know what is the problem ? We try plug off the battery plug and install back, but all just same, no power support for interior and cannot start engine with the new elec module.

The reason i change this, is because we found it make the car battery flat.

Need help from someone expect, Because in our local here have no nissan dealer which can repair GTR.

I will upload the picture, The one with plastic is the new electric module.

Really need help. Please someone expect can help me in this problem ? i wish i didnt get the wrong part. Because it not cheap.

Thanks guy.

Thats a BCM, your keys wont work with the new BCM it must be Programmed by the dealer. I have replaced plenty of BCM on various nissan/infiniti cars buying them from insurance auctions, replacing the BCM alone i believe requires programming ,

IN short you need to go to the dealer and program the keys to the car once again, in order for your car to start keys are linked to ECM,BCM and the Key Control Module, now if you took a used ECM,BCM,Key control module and key Fob from another car i bet it will work 100% but you will have different VIN in that ECM ( did that in My Q50 because i had another car laying round for parts )

anyways in short that needs to be programmed to your key or your car wont start. you also might need new keys if they cannot rewrite old keys, Nissan/Infiniti today will not allow you to reprogram used keys, not sure if its 2015+ or earlier ,
