Hey guys....so i recently watched a tuning video where we can control boost settings with the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel....now is that possible to do with a all stock vehicle or would I need to get it tuned first?

I'll bet what you're seeing is a video put together by John Visconti. It's an EcuTek feature.
Cobb Accessport also does this. You need a tune with multiple maps and then can switch between them using the cruise up / cruise down buttons.. For e.g. Cicio / Doug at TSM tuned my car and I have three maps with different boost settings... very handy for the track..
you need a tune with several maps to do this. so the answer is no, you cannot do it on a stock car.
