I prefer to have one on the car.

 

I use a flat black metal frame from BMW.

 

here is the best one they make it hides the screws. I got it for my NISMO as it matches the gloss. I had it for my 09 years ago and it lasted 2 years then yellowed a bit. im giving it another try as its the only one I wanted to put on the car

Hi MC, I like the one you showed on Sears site. Is the CF weave in the same direction as shown ?. The stock diffuser on my '15 has the weave going in this direction - ///// . Just want to make sure the sears pattern is the same. Thanks!.

MC I have the TagArmur CF on mine right now. I've also noticed yellowing.

 

In Florida most of these are illegal. They can't cover up not even a little bit of any of the letters on the plate. Not even the letters that read " In god we trust" which is bullshit but whatever. One of my business partners was pulled over for this today, the other was pulled over a few months ago for this and I have been warned while being pulled over for speeding.

 

here in NC you cant have the state at the bottom covered and the TagArmur one is thin enough to work.

As I quote myself, I wanted to mention that I actually have a very thin black plastic frame. Like EmpireDude said, It makes the back look cleaner.

 

I rocked these on my z while I had it, and have since transferred them to my GT-R. I love them! I think frames make the rear end massively cleaner. Something about a naked plate just irks me.

 

I think i have the same one MC has on his current gt-r. Here is what it looks like mounted to the car.

 

Adrian, does it match the cf weave of the stock diffuser?. Do you have a close up shot?. Thanks!

This is one i got... build quality is excellent, its full black chrome and good weight to it. Also i like how the screw covers say Nissan. I got it off Amazon for like 30 which is steep but well worth the price of admission seems like it will last forever.

GT-Rpilot, I think you are right, I'll just keep the cf one I have. Funny thing though is my dad noticed it and he is not exactly a car guy lol.
