Hey guys, i know this topic has been talked about before. I wanted to make a new thread for some more up to date opinions and feedback.
Driving mainly on the street with an occasional track day in the mix.
For a 1000hp car on ecutek what tires do you feel give the best grip when put on a set of 18s?
I have m&h 325/40/18 & 275/45/18 on the car now and i feel that its not enough grip.

Thanks in advance, CJ

I do not like the MH at all. I find them substantially wobbly compared to the MIckey ET Streets, especially in turns. Rear always feel like it wants to walk out.

I run them on Volk Saga 10/12 setup and have no issues with traction on street on any setting.

Has less to do with M&H width and more about the sidewall and durometer in my opinion. I think I ran the 305âs Iâll look for older pictures.

Running the Saga now :
Front Spec: 18Ă—10.0 +35mm
Rear Spec: 18Ă—12.0 +26mm
Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 345/35 and 275/45 - both 27.8 rolling circumference

For the MT’s stick with the ones with the same rolling circumference from to rear.

The M&H performed better at the track i consistently 60' better than the MT, but driving on them sucked constant steering wheel shake at higher cruising speeds and weared unevenly

The MTs are a lot more comfortable to drive on regularly and still preforms well at the track.

800+ whp stock motor stock trans BL750x here.

Weighted they sit flat. Also that center section wears pretty quickly. The MT are much better if you get stuck in the rain too. Forgot to mention that.

Almost everyone runs the MT's now. I'm gonna be switching to those once this virus is over. Going to shoe horn the 345 onto my 10.5" rear

.6” ? I

f the front is 27.8 circumference that’s about a 2.1% difference.

Should have no issues, less as the tires wear.

Both are great options as we have run both. The M&H however yield better traction than the street S/S.

Why kind of tire pressure are you running ? Why not give the MTs a shot.
