Hey All,

Took me a bit longer than I thought to get everything put together but I finally have my plug and play lighting kit! The best details are on my website at www.h2autodesigns.com but I have some pics, demo video, and install video attached! The kit will work in R35 model years 2009-2020. Unfortunately my install video is only applicable to 2009-2016 years. If anyone has +2017 and wants a free lighting kit in exchange for some video footage message me!! Let me know what questions you all have :)

Orange, Purple, and Green looks pretty cool in my bimmer. The Orange will offset well with the needles and button backlighting.
Orange would be more suited than red wouldn't it.

Perhaps, but it would need to be in the 6000 to 7000k range…. Definitely not 3500 to 4500k

I was wondering what people thought about just plain white as an interior lighting footwell color?
Orange is fantastic!

And yes, holy cow it only took me 2 months to get them installed lol ?

Love them though… brightness shown here is at least half or a smidge more.
And its a perfect match to the console lighting (y)

Happy Motoring…

Silly question, but is the default lighting for the drivers + passenger footwell always on? (Regardless if door is open or closed)
No it's not.
And also regardless if the either door is open or not. As the footwell lighting is dependant on the glove box light which is dependant on the parking lights being physically turned on.

This is a good question and Gzilla_ answered it correctly! I personally like it because you don't have to hit any buttons the footwell lighting will just come on when headlights are on. This is nice because it looks cool and it's functional so you can see if you drop something at night. The other nice thing is in the R35 the headlights stay on when you turn the car off until you get out and close the door. So as you're getting out of the car after you're parked you still have the footwell lighting :)

Let me know if anyone has any questions. I"m working on a RGB multicolor kit which can be controlled by your phone via bluetooth :)

How hard is the install on a 19? I guess it’s not the difficulty but is it plug and play as well?
CBA and DBA should be the same if your DBA has the interior glove box light (which I would guess it does)
